SUMMER WORKING CAMP IN DUEÑAS by Lydia Aguado.

This is what you need to know to join the camp:

1st turn from 16th to 30th July, from 18 to 30 years old.
2nd turn from 1st to 15th August, from 18 to 30 years old.

Housing: it is a big house with a lot of rooms. It is in C/Las Damas nº4, Dueñas.
Work: we want to make and signal a walking and cycling path. We want to make a museum in the open air. We want to look after the old shepherd's huts.
We will use one van to carry us.

Other activities:
- games in the village to know its history.
- walk along the Castillian Canal.
- activities in the River Pisuerga.
- a walk in the Palentina Mountains.
- chocolate in La Trapa.
- workshops.
- games, swimming-pool, sports,...

You need:
- a sleeping bag and warm clothes. Clothes for work.
- Swimming costume and towel.
- a small bag and shoes for work.

Alojamiento: es un gran casa con muchas habitaciones. Está en C/Las Damas, nº4 de Dueñas.
Trabajo: queremos hacer y señalizar una camino para andar e ir en bicicleta. Queremos hacer un museo al aire libre. Queremos cuidar los chozos.
Utilizaremos una furgoneta para el transporte.
Otras actividades:
- juegos en el pueblo para conocer su historia.
- paseos por el Canal de Castilla.
- actividades en el río Pisuerga.
- un paseo por la Montaña Palentina.
- chocolate en la Trapa.-
- talleres.
- juegos, piscina, deportes,...

VIAJE A LA PLAYA por Isabel Bujidos

A TRIP TO THE BEACH BY ISABEL BUJIDOS.

On Thrusday 23rd July there is a trip to stay a day on the beach in Gijón.

It is organized by "The Retired People's Home".
The bus will go at 9.00 in the morning.
The price is 14€ and you have to carry your food.

If there are fee seats you can come with us although you aren't a member.


VIAJE A LA PLAYA.
El jueves 23 de julio hay un viaje para estar un día en la playa de Gijón.
Está organizado por el Hogar del Pensionista.
El autobus saldrá a las 9.00 de la mañana.
El precio es 14€ y tienes que llevar tu comida.
Si hay asientos libres, puedes venir aunque no seas socio.

ON HOLIDAYS IN ... BUGEDO by Lucia Escudero
Lucia interviews NGM about her summer holidays.

N.G.M. is eleven. She went to Bugedo (in Asturias) with her friends for ten days. She slept in a Monastery and they did a lot of activities in the open air.


She loved:
- the water games.
- the macarroni salad.
- the forest in Bugedo: at night the children walked to the forest and their teachers frightened them with dolls and water balloons. It was fantastic!!!

She wanted to swim in the river but she couldn't because it was dangerous.
She wants to return and she would recommend this summer camp to all her friends.


DE VACACIONES EN ...BUGEDO.
NGM tiene 11 años. Estuvo Bugedo (en Asturias) con sus amigos durante 10 días. Durmió en un monasterio e hicieron muchas actividades al aire libre.
A ella le encantó:
- los juegos de agua.
- la ensalada de macarrones.
- el bosque de Bugedo: por la noche los niños caminaban al bosque y sus profesores les asustaban con muñecos y globos de agua. ¡¡¡Fue fantastico!!!
Ella quería nadar en el rio pero no pudieron porque era peligroso.
NGM quiere volver y ella recomendaría este campamento de verano a todos sus amigos.

JUANA LA LOCA LLEGA A TORQUEMADA by Ana Gil

JUANA "THE MAD QUEEN" ARRIVES IN TORQUEMADA.

This weekend we can see Juana "The Mad Queen" in Torquemada for third year beside the hearse of ther husband Philip "The Handsome".

The activities will begin in the Isabelino Park on Saturday at noon with a Middle-Age market with more than ten stalls.

At 13.00 and at 18.30 there is magic in the streets.

At 22.30 the theatre will begin: Juana the first of Castilla and her husband Philip arrive in Torquemada. First, the entrance across the bridge. Second, the arrival in Torquemada. Third, the birth of Catalina of Austria. Finally, the queen will say goodbye.

On Sunday the market will continue and it will finish at 22.00 hours.



JUANA LA LOCA LLEGA A TORQUEMADA.
Este fin de semana podemos ver a Juana La Loca en Torquemada por tercer año junto con el fenetro de su marido Felipe el Hermoso.
Las actividades empezarán en la Parque Isabelino el sábado a mediodía, con un mercado medieval con más de 10 puestos.
A las 13.00 y a las 18.30 hay magia en las calles.
A las 22.30 comenzará el teatro: Juana primera de Castilla y su marido Felipe llegan a Torquemada. Primero, la entrada cruzando en puente. Segundo, la llegada a Torquemada. Tercero, el nacimiemto de Catalina de Austria. Finalmente, la reina dirá adios.
El domingo el mercado continuará y terminará a las 22.00.
