PREMIO AL MEJOR EQUIPO PARA SINCRONIZADA EN ROMA by Ana Gil

AWARD TO THE BEST TEAM in sincronized swimming in the Rome World Cup.

Gemma Mengual took the award.

Ana Tarre's girls received the highest number of points in the Swimming World Cup. Spain got seven medals: six silver medals and one old medal.
Ana Torre's girls have a big merit.
They say goodbye with a big smile.

This championship was difficult for the Spanish swimmers.
Gemma Mengual said that the jury wasn't fair and that they didn't recognized the value of some exercises.
The Russian team beat the Spanish team in all performances except one that the Russian team didn't participate and Spain got the gold medal.

Las chicas de Ana Tarres recibieron el mayor número de puntos en la Copa del Mundo de Natación. España consiguió siete medallas: seis de plata y una medalla de oro.
Las chicas de Ana Torres tienen un gran mérito.
Dicen adios al campeonato con una gran sonrisa.
Este campeonato fue difícil para las nadadoras españolas.
Gemma Mengual dijo que el jurado no fue justo y que no reconocieron el valor de algunos ejercicios.
El equipo ruso ganó al equipo español en todas las actuaciones excepto una en que los rusos no participaron y España recibió la medalla de oro.

FESTIVAL DE LA TRILLA en Castrillo de Villavega by Alicia Masa

FESTIVAL OF THE THRESHING in Castrillo de Villavega.

The 9th Festival of the Threshing will take place in Castrillo de Villavega on 8th and 9th August.

It's organized by Asociación La Trilla and they want to show the old works in the fields. To explain these works there will be mules from Ciudad Real and a lot of old working tools. The people will dress like in the old times.

This festival is 9 years old and hundreds of people will come to see it. They will offer Castillian food to the people and there will be music all the time.

TIMETABLE:
Friday 7th - poetry about the Independance War at 22:00 hours Saturday 8th - parade of old instruments of work at 11:00. They will give the medal "The Gold Thresher" to Cesar Lumbreras at 16:30 hours.
Sunday 9th - mass at 13:00. In the evening there will be games and conpetitions. There will be Castillian food on Saturday and Sunday.


IX FIESTA DE LA TRILLA en Castrillo de Villavega. La XI Fiesta de la Trilla tendrá lugar en Castrillo de Villavega los día 8 y 9 de agosto. Esta organizada por Asociación La Trilla y quiere mostrar los trabajos antiguos en el campo.
Para explicar estos trabajos, habrá mulas de Ciudad Real y muchos instrumentos de trabajo antiguos. La gente vestirá como en los viejos tiempos.
Este festival tiene 9 años y cientos de personas vienen a verlo. Ofrecerán comida castellana a la gente y habrá música todo el tiempo.
Programa: 7 viernes: poesía sobre la Guerra de la Independencia a las 22:00.
8 sábado: desfile de viejos instrumentos de trabajo a las 11:00. Darán la medalla El Trillo de Oro a Cesar Lumbreras a las 16:30.
9 domingo: misa a las 13:00. Por la tarde habrá juegos y concursos.
Habrá comida castellana el sábado y el domingo.

18:30 - peñas concentration in Conde Vallellano Square.
19:00 - the peñas will go down to Barrio Virgen de Onecha.
19:30 - the PEÑAS PARADE starts from Barrio Virgen de Onecha to the Virgin's Eye Church where we will sing the traditional "Salve". The peña La Cuerda will carry the Virgin.
20:30 - PEÑAS PARADE in España Square in front of the Botijera and Ladies, with the opening speech for the beginning of the Fiestas Botijeras.
22:30 - night bull running. The running path is the same as in the mornings. It finishes at 23.30.
24:00 music and dance in the street with the dance band Embrujo.

VIERNES 21 DE AGOSTO
18:30 - Concentración de Peñas en la Plaza Conde Vallellano.
19:00 - Las peñas bajarán hasta el Barrio Virgen de Onecha
19:30 - Comienza la tradicional PROCESIÓN CÍVICO-RELIGIOSA, con el DESFILE DE PEÑAS, saliendo del Barrio Virgen de Onecha, acompañadas de charangas, para dirigirse hasta la ERMITA DEL OJO DE LA VIRGEN, donde se cantará la tradicional SALVE. Llevará la Virgen la Peña la Cuerda.
20:30 - DESFILE Y PRESENTACIÓN DE PEÑAS en la Plaza de España, ante las autoridades, Botijera y Damas 2009, así como público en general. Seguidamente, PREGÓN anunciando el cominzo de las Fiestas Botijeras 2009. Lanzamiento de GRAN CHUPINAZO y encendido de la ILUMINACIÓN de las Fiestas.
22:30 - ENCIERRO NOCTURNO, siendo el recorrido el mismo de los de la mañana, finalizando sobre las 23:30.
24:00 - Verbena popular en la Plaza de España, amenizada por la Orquesta EMBRUJO.

18:00 - Rejones in the bull ring, with the authorities, Botijera and Ladies 2009. There will be 6 bulls.
20:30 - street theatre in Santa Teresa Square with the group Debote Enbote.
21:00 - the Street Music Band will play in España Square and around it.
24:00 - music and dance in the street with the dance band Cartoon Band.


DOMINGO 23 AGOSTO

09:30 - CONCENTRACIÓN DE PEÑAS en la Plaza de la Paz. Degustación de CHOCOLATADA, servida por la Peña el Desahucio. A continuación Pasacalles hasta la Plaza de Toros.
10:30 - SEGUNDO ENCIERRO TRADICIONAL. Finalizará a las 12:00
13:30 - Visita a los Recintos Peñeros, por las autoridades acompañados por la Charanga.
18:00 - Con asistencia de las Autoridades, Botijera y Damas 2009, GRAN CORRIDA DE REJONES, 6 novillos-toros a cargo de 3 rejoneadores.
