MARTA DOMINGUEZ CAMPEONA DEL MUNDO by Belén Paredes

MARTA DOMINGUEZ 3,000 HURDLES WORLD CHAMPION in BERLIN.


On 18th August we could see from our television Marta Dominguez when she came the first to the finishing line and won the gold medal in 3,000 hurdles in Berlín.

Marta did a fantastic race and was all the time with the first group ... till the home straight when Marta left the group to arrive at the finishing line alone and enjoy her success.

This is the first gold medal for the Spanish athetism in 10 years. The last gold medals for Spain was in Seville 2009 for Abel Anton in the marathon and Niurka Montalvo in the long jump.

Marta improved her own time and got to the finishing line in 9.07.32.

CONGRATULATIONS MARTA!!! We are very happy and we are sure that you are very happy too!!!

El 18 de agosto todos pudimos ver desde nuestros televisores a Marta Dominguez cuando llegaba la primera a la meta y ganaba la medalla de oro en 3.000m vallas. Marta hizo una carrera fantástica y estuvo todo el tiempo con el grupo primero ... hasta la última recta cuando Marta dejó al grupo para llegar a la meta sola y disfrutar de su triunfo.
Esta es la primera medalla de oro para el atletismo español en 10 años. Las últimas medallas de oro para España fueron en Sevilla 2009 para Abel Antón en la maratón y Niurka Montalbo en el salto de longitud.
Marta consiguió mejorar su propio tiempo y llegó a meta en 9.07.32.
¡¡¡Enhorabuena Marta!!! ¡Estamos muy contentos y estamos seguros que tú estas contenta también!

FIESTAS IN PALENCIA


This year there is a big musical offer in the Fiestas in Palencia so we can enjoy live music in the Plaza Mayor and in the Huertas del Obispo where we can watch some famous bands and singers: Jarabe de Palo, Amaia Montero, Macaco, Pitingo, Miguel Rios and a lot of others.

Also, there is theatre for children and for adults. Some actors are famous such as Maria Luisa Merlo, Belinda Washington, Carlos Lozano and Arturo Fernández. Also, Berto will tell us a monologue.

On 31st August and 1st September there is zarzuela that joins theatre and music.
The prices go from 15€ to 30€ each ticket.

Este año hay una gran oferta musical en las fiestas de Palencia así que podemos disfrutar de música en directo and la Plaza Mayor y en las Huertas del Obispo donde podemos ver algunos grupos y cantantes famosos: Jarabe de Palo, Amaia Montero, Macaco, Pitingo, Miguel Rios y muchos otros.
También hay teatro para niños y para adultos. Algunos actores son famosos como María Luisa Merlo, Belinda Washington, Carlos Lozano y Arturo Fernández. También Berto nos contará un monólogo. El 31 de agosto y el 1 de septiembre hay zarzuela que une el teatro con la música. Los precios van de 15€ a 30€.

"LUNA NUEVA" SE ESTRENARÁ EN ESPAÑA by Alicia Masa

THE FILM "NEW MOON" will be launched in Spain for the first time on 18th November, two days before its launch in the United States.

Aurum Productions decided the launch in Spain and in France because there are a lot of followers in these two countries.

In the film we can watch the second part of the passionate and dangerous love between Bella Swam and the vamp Edward Cullen.

The film is based in the book "Twilight" written by Stephanie Meyer and published in 2005. There are four books "Twilight", "New Moon", "Eclipse" and "Dawn". The books are translated to 37 languages and the people bought 25 million of books.




LA PELÍCULA "LUNA NUEVA" será estranada en España por primera vez el 18 de noviembre, dow días antes de su lanzamiento en los Estados Unidos.
Aurum Productions decidió el lanzamiento en España y en Francia porque hay muchos seguidores en estos dos paises.
En la película podemos ver la segunda parte del apasionado y peligroso amor entre Bella Swam y el vampiro Edward Cullen.
La película esta basada en el libro "Crepúsculo" escrito por Stephanie Meyer y publicado en 2005. Hay cuatro libros "crepúsculo", "Luna Nueva", "Eclipse" y "Amanecer". Los libros están traducidos a 37 idiomas y se han vendido 25 millones de ejemplares.

DÍA DEL NIÑO en Dueñas by Lucia Escudero

CHILDREN'S DAY

On 17th August in the Barrio Virgen de Onecha, there was a big party for the children.

It was very hot and there were three trampolines, a go-kart that the children drove on a race track, and four WIIS too. Later, there was a big foam party. It was fantastic!!!

There were a lot of people. The ride children liked most was the go-kart and a lot of children wanted to drive it.

EL DÍA DEL NIÑO
El 17 de agosto en el Barrio Virgen de Onecha hubo una gran fiesta para los niños.
Hacía mucho calor y había tres camas elásticas, un kart que los niños conducían por una pista y cuatro WIIS también. Después hubo una fiesta de espuma.
Había mucha gente. La atracción que más gustó fue el kart y muchos niños querían conducirlo.

CRAZY CARS


There was a crazy-cars race last Sunday 16th August at 7:00 in Dueñas .

There were thirteen cars and a lot of people went to see them.

It was very exciting! There were two accidents but nobody was hurt.

We liked a tractor and two pirate boats but there was a UFO, a bird and others.


LOS AUTOS LOCOS
Hubo una carrera de autos locos el pasado domingo 16 de agosto a las 7:00 en Dueñas.
Había 13 coches y mucha gente fue a verlo.
¡Fue muy emocionante! Hubo dos accidentes pero nadie resultó herido.
Nos gustó un tractor y dos barcos piratas pero también había un OVNI, un pájaro y otros.
